Chapter Preface

This is the official document of SML#, a programming language developed at Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University. This document intends to provide comprehensive information on SML#, covering a user's guide, tutorials on ML and SML# programming, and a reference manual. This 1.0.1 version only contains an overview of SML# and tutorials on ML and SML# programming, which would be sufficient for beginners who want to start writing ML programs and for experienced ML programmer who would like to try out or switch to SML#.
